This Privacy Policy explains how QuickPix collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you visit our website, create an account, upload images, or use our image processing tools.

We design QuickPix to collect only the information needed to provide the service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use uploaded images to train AI models.

Account information: if you create an account, we collect your email address, username, password hash, plan type, account settings, and related account metadata.

Uploaded content and file metadata: when you upload an image, we process the file and store metadata such as file name, size, MIME type, dimensions, upload time, processing operation, and task status.

Technical information: we may process basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, request timestamps, error logs, and security events to operate and protect the service.

Support information: if you contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, subject, and message.

We use information to provide image upload, preview, processing, download, account, authentication, support, abuse prevention, security, debugging, and service improvement functions.

Uploaded images are used only to perform the processing action you request, such as compression, resizing, cropping, or conversion.

We do not sell your information, use your images for advertising, or use uploaded files to train machine learning models.

Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention, or with your consent where required.

You may withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, but this will not affect processing that already occurred lawfully.

Uploaded and processed image files are intended to be automatically deleted from our servers within 2 hours of upload. You should keep your own backup of original files.

Account records, file metadata, processing history, usage statistics, support messages, and security logs may be retained for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse.

If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information unless retention is required for legal, security, or legitimate business reasons.

We may share information with service providers that help us host infrastructure, store data, process files, deliver email, provide customer support, monitor security, or process payments if paid features are used.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to QuickPix and are expected to protect it appropriately.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

QuickPix uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in, remember basic preferences, and operate security features. The current web app stores the authentication token in local storage rather than a tracking cookie.

We use security measures designed to protect information, including HTTPS/TLS transmission, password hashing, access controls, automated file deletion policies, and infrastructure safeguards.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or data has been compromised, contact us promptly.

QuickPix may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different privacy laws from your jurisdiction.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information.

California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. QuickPix does not sell personal information.
